The Spa is a much loved and cherished landmark building in Bridlington having graced the seafront for the duration of the 20th century. The Bridlington Spa was rebuilt in 1907 after a fire destroyed the original 1896 building. In 2006 - 2008 East Riding of Yorkshire Council, with the assistance of the European Regional Development Fund and Yorkshire Forward, funded redevelopment and refurbishment of the building to develop its traditional role for the future.
The Royal Hall and Spa Theatre host the very best in drama, music, dancing, comedy, sports and more. Already a key touring venue for top bands (since reopening in May 2008 The Spa has hosted Oasis and Prodigy, The Script, Kaiser Chiefs), the Royal Hall holds concerts with audiences of up to 3800 people.
New and refurbished rooms of different sizes are available for hire for events, conferences, exhibitions, weddings and meetings. Many of the rooms give stunning views onto the beach, promenade and sea and state-of-the-art technical and catering facilities.
